Jefferson’s entertainment calendar is filled throughout the year with everything from blockbusters, big bands, the blues and classical offerings to children’s theater.
Council for the Performing Arts
The Council for the Performing Arts, founded in 1977, is dedicated to and hosts professional and amateur acts for community enrichment and entertainment. Performances are scheduled at the Performing Arts Center, which is located in Jefferson High School. The center includes a 1,000 seat auditorium making this facility one of southeastern Wisconsin’s largest community theaters.
Area residents have enjoyed great performances from the Glenn Miller Orchestra, the Madison Symphony, Missoula Children's Theater and the Dutton Family.
